При активации плагина (ВП 2,8)вылетает ошибка

Здравствуйте, у меня вот такая проблема. Установлен WPMU 2.71, пользователю выдается инвайт, он успешно регистрируется, но при последующей активации аккаунта, на странице с логином и паролем, выскакиевает “ОШИБКА:Неправильный код приглашения”. Скрин с тестового хостинга:
Инвайт также нельзя посмотреть из админки, пишет “код не найден”. Пользователь при этом регистрируется успешно и может работать.
Все установлено по инструкции, никак не могу понять в чем проблема, отличный плагин, хочется пользоваться.
Кроме того, я хотел бы предложить вам доработать один из существующих сторонних плагинов. Не бесплатно, разумеется. Свяжитесь со мной по электронной почте (она у меня в профиле), если заинтересованы.

Привет,
The Customize Meta Widget doesn’t seem to work with WP 2.8. Is there anything we can chnage to make it work or a new version will fix this?

Customize Meta Widget works with wordpress 2.8 – my blog runs 2.8, and you can see that plugin changed “meta” menu. Did you activate the plugin and modify plugin code according to given instructions?

LOL. My wife is Russian, so now I can read cyrillic and I understand basic things in Russian but after 8 years I am still not able to “speak” correctly, but enough not to die from hunger if needed ;-)
Actually I realized the wordpress.org link was gone, but I was under the impression I could remove other links like the RSS from the widget. Now I looked at the code and it is obvious I can edit from there, sorry for the disturbance.
Thank you for the plugin, it’s a very cool one!

Are you sure that the plugin causes this problem? Try deactivating plugin – can you see your feeds after it?

I can see the feed when I deactivate. I saw in Registered-Users v1, he had an option for viewing the RSS feed. Is there a way in the exclusions to put the feed?

Я хочу поставить на сайт Ваш виджет, но мне не нравится, что я не могу изменить его заголовок. В стандартном виджете WordPress можно было указать вместо “Мета”, например, “Служебный раздел”. У Вас этой возможности нет. Спасибо. И – спасибо за виждет.

Виджет сделан, в основном, как дорабатываемая заготовка для замены стандартного – можно залезть в код и без особых сложностей поменять название.
Мне просто не хочется дописывать его код до того состояния, что человек испугается что-то в нём доделывать.

I am having an issue with WP-invites on my WP 2.8.3 install. “You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ‘DEFAULT CHARACTER SET utf8′ at line 5″ when i click the settings to generate the code, and ‘Table ‘database.wp_invites’ doesn’t existTable ‘database.wp_invites’ doesn’t exist

It’s because you have mysql version < 5

Hello!
I do have a big problem with your WP-Invites Plugin and my WPMU 2.8.3 Installation! The Plugin works fine, but if I activate it, the registration-page doesn’t check wheater the username already exists.
So someone is able to register with the same username. The effect is, that the new user overrides the original user. I need some help! Please!

Maybe someone can help me…
I have installed the plugin wp-invites and is working just fine! Except one littleeee thing.
When someone enter a wrong invitation code, the error message appears in the wrong place.
Please check:

But I have found a bug… when we fill all the register form and click in the “Register” button to finish registation nothing happens… only works when we click again… so we need to click twice! Can you fix this too? :)

Wow. That’s a pretty strange problem…
Could you please examine it?
Plugin does not add any real time form preprocessing, so it shouldn’t be able to make such kind of bug – but who knows…
Just now, it worked fine during testing on my blog.

I can’t seem to modify. I comment out just the rss feeds but all it did was show the comment tags!

I have tested on IE, but tomorrow I will try with Firefox.
Btw, today I received two mails of two different members that registed in my blog, and both got problems with the login… they said that the password that they received in the mail didnt work for them. I asked to forward the mail to me for testing and didnt work for me either.
Is this a wordpress or wp-invites bug?
Before I install this plugin I never got this kind of problems…
Any ideas? :)

This problem should not be connected with wp-invites…
Plugin only works as a filter.
Please try disabling plugin and check if error disappears. I’ll be able to look through code on weekend.

That’s not my plugin’s settings, that is wordpress native tool for upgrade.
You should specify FTP or SFTP login and password – and wordpress will upgrade itself and all plugins.
But if you don’t want to do it like this – just download new plugin version from repositary and install it manually.

Wow, at last I fixed that error – please check if everything’s OK in version 1.2.
